We are blessed to have Pastor Herve Pierre, the Director of Mission Possible Haiti, as a key supporter and encourager for our front line mission staff. He is daily on the phone with our staff in Haiti, getting updates on how the schools are doing, on the impact of the gangs in each of their communities, and on the challenges and opportunities experienced by our students, staff, their families and communities.
This can be a blessing as he hears about the way God is at work in the schools. But it can also be very draining and difficult, as he hears story after story of the daily challenges faced by our people in Haiti. Herve is a man of confidence in Jesus, and continues to encourage our staff and advocate for them with our Mission Possible team in Canada and the US. He prays with them, and shares their needs and concerns with the Mission Possible supporters.
Please pray for Herve and his family. His heart is with the people in Haiti, but he is not able to return there at this time. Pray for spiritual strength, for strength to listen and strength to speak words of faith, hope and love.
