Please pray for the school in Degeance and surrounding community. A local gang came in over the weekend and randomly burned homes, including some of our student family homes. Several people were killed as well, including the sister of the Pastor Hermann Dolne that had been serving in Degeance. He is not currently living there because his own home had been burned. We are waiting to hear from our Principal if there were other lives lost connected to the school.

School is not meeting this week because of Easter Break, but if this would have been a normal school week it would have been cancelled because of this gang activity.

As you can imagine this is creates a lot of anxiety and tension in the community and among the families. Pray for an end to the violence, and for those committing these atrocities to be somehow stopped – preferably by coming to know Jesus!
